Bladebarrow is a temple in the Edgelands featured in Fable: The Journey.
Overview
Bladebarrow is a temple of the Enlightened located within Miremoor Henge in the Edgelands. The temple bears the Willstone of Stone.
Bladebarrow seems to be the largest of the known Enlightened temples, and its structure is mainly and simply composed by a series of underground tunnels and galleries which extend themselves for longer distances than the gameplay allows Gabriel to explore.
Aside of the main temple, Bladebarrow holds a series of ancient catacombs, which can be easily noticed due to the amount of skeletons and tombs inside, which are aligned with Stone's title as the "Hero of the fallen" (referring to the fallen heroes and townsfolk of old). Bladebarrow, as the name suggest, is also teeming with many metal blades, of great size, hanging in chains from the ceiling or partially embed in the ground and walls of the underground tunnels, it is also noticeable that the cave system contains a great number of cliffs around the main path, a feature that Gabriel recalls as bottomless pits.
The portion of Bladebarrow which holds the trials any hero must face in order to obtain Stone's willstone contains not only swarms of Rockmites and ancient puzzles and booby traps, such as rolling boulders, but will also and quickly try to overpower the player with many hordes of Hollow Men which are formed by restless wisps possessing the many corpses contained in the catacombs inside Bladebarrow.
One of the most noticeable landscapes of Bladebarrow is the great amounts of waters that pours from the surface to what appears to be an underground river that flows within the temple, which Ghostlight comments to be the "pathway to eternal life", which is also the responsible to create the unnatural mist filled with hollow men that Gabriel must cross in order to reach the main temple area.
The main temple area, however, greatly resembles the other Enlightened temples, and is basically composed by the magic pool where Stone's willstone is hidden and a tree with magical characteristics that reflects the power of the temple's willstone, in this case, the tree has the appearance of a hollow tree with no leaves whatsoever once again linking its meaning with Stone's title as the “Hero of the Fallen”.

Fable: The Journey
Built during Albion's anarchist period following the demise of the Old Kingdom, the temple contains a series of challenges designed to judge the worthiness of someone seeking the Willstone. Much of the temple is also a tomb, containing the bodies of warriors of old and their restless spirits, who have become aggressive enough to reanimate the bones of the dead as hollow men. Bladebarrow is guarded by Ghostlight, a wisp who was once a member of the Enlightened who was chosen for the position due to his "dependable disposition". Ironically, the wisp suffered from a dual personality disorder.
