fable

Guns are projectile weapons that first appear in Fable II. They replace the Longbows that were used in Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters, since the Fable II story happened 500 years after the original story (though a few crossbows can still be found). They are still primitive though.

Specifics

In both Fable II and Fable III, guns are unblockable and deals more damage than other ranged attacks. With precision, guns have the longest range of all attacks. However, they do have certain weaknesses, mainly that need to be reloaded and their ineffectiveness against crowded and cramped spaces. Unlike melee weapons, they can only target one enemy at a time and cannot block.

The second installment had a more assortment of guns and projectile weapons compared to the first and third game. However, guns in Fable III have been infused with more magic, with some models like the Facemelter being able to inflict fire damage.
