Rex is a bully in Fable II. He is about the same age as Rose and is encountered during Childhood. Rose and Sparrow come across him abusing a Dog, and Rose intervenes in an attempt to stop him. Rex headbutts Rose, knocking her to the ground, unconscious. He then turns his hostility towards Sparrow, who must fight back with either a wooden sword or a toy gun.

Once Rex has been defeated, he will cry out and flee the area. Rose gets up and thanks Sparrow for fighting Rex, but states that she could have taken him. Rose and Sparrow then turn to comfort the Dog that Rex was abusing; the Dog becomes Rose and Sparrow's dog.

Trivia

• After defeating Rex, the children will cheer and talk to each other about the fight.

Notes

• When you defeat Rex he says "leave me alone you nutter". After defeating Thag, a Bandit (or slaver) called Dick asks you to give him the key you took from Thag's Cabin for 100 Gold if you instead free the Gypsies he will say "you're a Nutter you know that a Nutter" and will attack you.
