The Undead are a type of monster that haunt specific places in Albion. Their most well-known residence is the Lychfield Graveyard, where they ambush the Hero on a regular basis. They are often considered unthinking and impervious to pain, forcing Heroes to utilize extreme force to defeat them. Fortunately, they are also slow in combat, allowing faster Heroes to simply run away.
In all other Fable titles, the generic undead are replaced by hollow men, skeletal undead figures who prove to be faster and smarter than their brethren from the Age of Heroes.
Types of Undead
- Standard Undead: Sometimes referred to as "minions" because they are summoned by undead generals and Succubus Nymphs in the Witchwood Arena, these undead are small, weak, and ill-equipped to deal any real damage. Heroes wielding even obsidian weaponry can destroy them in two hits.
- Chieftain Undead: As befitting their status as chieftains, these undead are noticeably more bulked up due to both their greater strength and their superior armour.
- Undead General: The strongest type of undead to haunt mainland Albion, they are easily discernible with their tattered capes, their helmets, and their unusually large amounts of bone marrow. In addition to being superior fighters, they can also summon minion undead.
- Wraith: Exclusive to the Northern Wastes, Wraiths are sometimes summoned by the Succubus Queens native to that region. Though their abilities mirror those of the undead generals, they have a noticeable frosty visage that permeates their shambling bodies. The book Creatures of the North also refers to them as "hoar skeletons".

Notes
- Undead do not react at all to unarmed attacks, even flourishes.
- During the Gateway to Hook Coast quest, most Undead have less health than usual (soldiers, lieutenants and generals have 250, 500 and 1000 health respectively) and the generals lack their normal summoning ability.
Trivia
- Undead Generals can be summoned by the player. However, the Generals can also summon other Standard Undead, and they will attack both the player and the summoned Undead General. This may have been an overlook by the developers.
